Pamela Abrams, M.D.
Dr. Abrams joined Family Practice Associates in 1993. A Colorado native, she graduated from the University of Denver with a BA in science and a minor in piano. She received her medical degree from the University of Colorado and then completed a residency in family medicine at Phoenix Baptist Hospital in Phoenix, AZ.
Dr. Abrams is board-certified in family medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Colorado Medical Society and the Boulder Medical Society. She is a member of Avista Hospital’s Family Medicine Department and previously served in Avista’s medical education department for five years.
Dr. Abrams enjoys the full-spectrum of family medicine including adult medicine, both women's and men's health, pediatrics, preventative medicine, chronic disease management and minor procedures (i.e. dermatological and gynecological). She has a special interest in women’s health issues and cardiovascular disease prevention.
Dr. Abrams is married and has three boys. She enjoys outdoor activities and general physical fitness, including swimming, hiking and long distance walking. She also enjoys spending time with her family, church involvement, music and piano.
